Hotel & restaurant Le Temps de Vivre
If you are going to spend some time in this hotel, maybe you would like to know some of its history.
The building was built around 1585, originally as a house, but it has known several fates through the ages. It was first owned by rich merchants and ship owners, and then by French ‘Filibusters’. During the second part of the 19th century and until the beginning of the 20th century, it was a traditional inn under the name "Inn of the White Pigeon".
A small alley next to the building leads directly to the sea.
On the other side of this lane, were the garden and the stables of the inn, which is now home to the restaurant ‘Le Temps de Vivre’. Here you are invited to appreciate the creative cooking of Jean-Yves Crenn, widely recognized in Brittany as a perfect blend of soil and imagination.
Welcome to "Le Temps de Vivre" meaning "Take the time to Live". Definitely a good place to experience the French Art of Living mainly made of taking your time to appreciate fine cooking, sharing dinner with family and friends, and looking for those few moments that make life more pleasurable.
Welcome to "Le Temps de Vivre", an exceptional place to discover, built in a unique style, harmonised by the old stones of this historical building and the modern Art decoration chosen by Line and Jean-Yves Crenn.
The restaurant is closed from the sunday evening to tuesday at lunch time.
The restaurant will be closed from Sunday 7th March 2010 in the evening to Thursday 25th March 2010 inclusive.
